General Conditions of Sale


T&R Descobertas Portuguesas specializes in organizing turnkey trips, offering complete assistance before, during and after your stay.

Our services include personalized packages, designed to ensure a peaceful travel experience, accompanied by insurance coverage according to the terms detailed below.


1. Reservations and payments


Payment terms:

Deposit: a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required upon reservation.

Balance: The balance must be paid no later than 1 month before the departure date.


Payment in installments:

Possibility to pay in 3 or 4 installments without charge, subject to the following conditions:

The departure date must allow for a compatible schedule.

The total amount of the trip will be assessed on a case-by-case basis with the trip creator.

Accepted payment methods:

Secure online payment via our dedicated platform.

Payment in installments possible via PayPal or credit card

Travel documents (tickets, vouchers, detailed itinerary) will be sent by email once full payment has been made.


2. Cancellations and refunds


Cancellations by the customer:

In case of cancellation, the customer must check whether his bank card includes coverage for cancellation-related costs.

Non-refundable fees include:

20% of the total amount of the trip, corresponding to management costs.

The cost of airline tickets (non-refundable unless otherwise agreed).


Reimbursement terms:

More than one month before departure: reimbursement possible after deduction of non-refundable costs.

Between 1 month and 3 weeks before departure: partial refund subject to recoverable items, but at least 50% of the total amount will not be refunded.

Less than 3 weeks before departure: no refund.


Cancellations due to unforeseeable circumstances:

In the event of conditions beyond your control (strikes, extreme weather conditions), coverage will be provided by our partner insurance, subject to the terms of the insurance policy.



3. Inclusions and exclusions


Turnkey packages

Our trips include:


Accommodation according to the chosen standards and categories.

Transportation (air, land or sea depending on the program).

Excursions and activities specified in the itinerary.

24/7 support available.

Travel insurance in case of strike or weather conditions or other reasons beyond the control of the client

Round trip transfer airport hotel if necessary


Exclusions :


Transportation costs from your home to the point of departure (airport, train station, etc.) and back.

Personal expenses (souvenirs, drinks excluding meals included, extras, etc.).

Any service not explicitly mentioned in the offer.


4. Insurance and assistance


Insurance included: Each trip is covered by our partner insurance, covering:

Cancellations or modifications due to exceptional conditions (strikes, bad weather).

Assistance in case of incidents during the stay.


We also recommend that travelers take out additional insurance to cover:

Cancellations for personal reasons.


Responsibility :

The agency cannot be held responsible for the consequences linked to a delay by the client, in particular the loss of the flight or accommodation booked.

We strongly encourage our travelers to allow sufficient time to reach the departure point and respect the times indicated.

Items lost, stolen or damaged during the stay.


5. Complaints


Complaints must be made:

In writing, directly with the agency or our service providers on site during the stay.

Accompanied by evidence (photos, documents, receipts).

An electronic complaints book is also available.


6. Baggage and conditions of transport


Allowed baggage:

Flight tickets only include baggage that can be placed under the seat, in accordance with standard airline dimensions.

For cabin baggage (10 kg maximum) as well as any hold baggage must be added and paid for in addition according to the company's conditions.


Luggage remains the responsibility of customers.
